Incoterms 2010
Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) are a set of optional international rules that the International Chamber of Commerce has gradually compiled and drawn up on the basis of the most common practices carried out by traders. The classification has changed over time. The latest version dates from 2010.
They basically define three aspects of the commercial relationship between buyer and seller: first, the point of delivery of goods; secondly, the distribution of transport costs included in the selling price; and finally, the transfer of risk and the insurance of the merchandise.
